Clear Browser Cache


Browsers

Firefox (Windows/Mac/Linux)

  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History
    1. NOTE - If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible
  2. From the "Time range to clear:" select Everything
  3. Next to Details, select the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.
  4. Select Clear Now
  5. Close and restart Firefox

Chrome

  1. In the top-right corner of Chrome, click the Chrome menu Chrome Menu.
  2. Select More tools > Clear browsing data
  3. In the dialog that appears, select the checkboxes for the types of information that you want to remove
  4. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete
    1. Select "beginning of time" to delete everything
  5. Select Clear browsing data

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, select Clear History and Website Data
  2. Select the desired time range, and then select Clear History
  3. Go to Safari > Quit Safari, then restart Safari

Android

  1. Go to Settings and choose Apps or Application Manager
  2. Swipe to the All tab
  3. In the list of installed apps, find and tap your web browser
  4. Tap Clear Data and then Clear Cache
  5. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser

Safari (Apple iOS)

  1. Open your Settings app on your iOS device (off of the main screen)
  2. Tap Safari
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data and confirm
